Brooklyn Center for the Urban Environment presents its 2nd Annual Literacy Fair with special guest performance by kindie rock band Audra Rox, games, reading circles, scavenger hunts, and books galore! Join students and families from IS 49, PS 377, PS 375, and PS 196 in a poetry workshop, quiltmaking, community monopoly, model building, and mock neighborhood walkthroughs. Brooklyn Public Library holds reading circles, sign up for summer reading program, and library card applications. Brooklyn Children’s Museum and Prospect Park Audubon Center and Lefferts Historic House will be on hand with stories and crafts. Rain or shine: Prospect Park Tennis House, Saturday June 23 11am-4pm.
