| Lower-income Brooklynites have a variety of options for filing their taxes online for free. If your adjusted gross income (AGI) is $54,000 or less, you can use The Beehive, sponsored by One Economy Corporation. a nonprofit organization based in Washington, D.C.
If you have an AGI of $30,000 or less, OR you are eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit (with an AGI of up to $39,783) OR you served in active duty with the military in 2007 with an income of $54,000 or less, you can use TurboTax Freedom Edition online.
