Summer's drawing to a close, and so is the annual free concert series at Asser Levy / Seaside Park.
There are two more Free Thursday concerts left:
Salsa By The Sea this Thursday the 20th at
7:30PM, and

Victor Manuelle,
El Sonero de la Juventud, has become one of the best-selling salsa performers
of recent years. He gained a lot of exposure after he sang an
a cappella version of Celia Cruz's
signature song,
La Vida Es Un Carnaval at her funeral at St. Patrick's Cathedral in 2003.
Reggaeton star Tego Calderón,
El Abayarde, received
The Source magazine's
International Artist of the Year award and has headlined at Madison Square Garden.
In addition to the Thursday concerts, Asser Levy Park also hosts Tuesday night concerts.
The last one of the season is next Tuesday the 25th, with the
Brawner Brothers Band, a jazz-funk
group that mixes Blues, R&B and Latin elements into their repertoire
