Subway Directions to the Michael Jackson Celebration
The Best Train to take is the Q train. You can also take the Franklin Avenue Shuttle. to Prospect Park (drops you at Ocean Ave and Flatbush Ave, about a half mile from the party)
Special Note for Out-of-Towners: that S (for Shuttle) train is the Franklin Avenue Shuttle. It is NOT the same S train you get at Times Square or Grand Central. If you get on the S at Times Square you will not end up in Brooklyn! Yes, we know it's confusing.
Other Trains You can also take the Train to 15th St / Prospect Park (long walk to the Nethermead)
or Train to Brooklyn Museum (also a long walk).

B41 to Flatbush and Ocean Ave.
or B43 to Ocean Ave. and Lincoln Road

Driving:
Parking around here can be horrible. You may be sorry if you drive. But if you drive:
From Manhattan or Brooklyn Bridge take Flatbush Avenue to Grand Army Plaza, continue down Flatbush to Ocean Avenue, turn right on Lincoln Road
From BQE Use Prospect Expressway, 10th Ave. exit. Turn left on 11th Avenue, right on Prospect Park Southwest to Park Circle. From Circle, follow Parkside Avenue then turn left on Ocean Avenue, continue to Lincoln Road
