To submit a new event to the Brooklyn Events Calendar, please use this form. You need to give us at least a week's advance notice or your event will not be considered.
This calendar uses pop-ups to display event info...you may need to disable your pop-up blocker to display an event's details...
Please note that dates are subject to change...Please be sure to contact the sponsoring organization to confirm dates and times!

Due to the large number of Block Parties, we are unable to list them all here. The best way to find block party details is to go to
the Official NYC Citywide Calendar, select "browse events: Street Events" and "Select Borough: Brooklyn" to see the whole list.

The New York Philharmonic will NOT play a concert in Prospect Park in 2011, but will return during the week of July 11-17, 2012.
The Met Opera will no longer play a concert in Prospect Park (that tour series ended after 2008) but they present a recital at Brooklyn Bridge Park in July.
The Village Voice Siren Festival (SirenFest) at Coney Island no longer exists....it has been replaced by the 4Knots Festival at the South Street Seaport in Manhattan.
Festa di Santa Rosalia - the 18th Avenue Feast - in Bensonhurst is not happening at all this summer. That has been confirmed now.
